Our projects and courses are accustomed to age-level learning. Campers are grouped by age and ability so that they fit into the right group for their personality.

Note: All campers must be fully independent in the bathroom as our staff are unable to provide personal care.

We will go outside every day for some fresh air and movement breaks. On rainy days, we have a movement specialist to facilitate group games daily.

Families must provide a NUT FREE snack and lunch.

We also recommend packing a water bottle, and an extra set of clothes if needed (recommended for younger campers).

No personal toys or electronics. Splat Kids should wear shoes that cover their feet, no flip-flops.

We do not offer refunds or credits for missed camp days, as our staffing and program costs remain the same regardless of attendance. If your child will be absent, please notify us as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding as we work to provide a high-quality experience for all campers.

We understand things happen and offer a 15-minute grace period. Please let us know if you are running late by emailing us at UWS@splatlab.com

Late Pickups at 3:00 (Regular Dismissal)

Pickups after 3:00 will be charged $15 for every 15 minutes after 3:15.

Late Pickups at 5:30 (Aftercare Dismissal)

Pickups after 5:30 will be charged $30 for every 15 minutes after 5:30.
Repeated late pickups may result in loss of aftercare privileges.

Brooklyn:

Apart from the registration for camp, we must have valid CH205 Health Forms for all Summer Camp attendees prior to their first day of camp. This form must have an exam date of no more than one year prior.

How do I submit my child’s health form?

You can easily upload the completed CH205 Health Form here.

You may also bring the completed health form with you on your first day of camp. Please prepare for an additional 15 minutes during check-in for us to double-check the forms. Please note that if your form is incomplete or not recent, your child will not be allowed to check into camp until you have submitted an updated form.

What if I can’t get a doctor’s appointment before the first day of camp?

It is required by the Department of Health to have a health form on file for every child attending camp.

How do I know if my health form is current?

Forms must be dated within a year of the week your camper is attending camp. For example, if you want to attend the week of July 7, 2025, your health form must be dated after July 13th, 2024.

Do I have to use this specific health form?

You may ONLY use a form other than the CH205 health form as long as it includes the following information and is signed by a doctor with an exam date of no more than one year prior to the date:

● Weight, Height, Blood, Pressure, Body Mass Index

● Vision, Hearing & Dental Screening

● Medical History, Nutritional Evaluation, Developmental Assessment

● Dates of Immunizations against diphtheria, measles, mumps, poliomyelitis, rubella, and tetanus

Can I use the same form I use for school?

If the health form is current and includes all of the required information mentioned above, you may use the same from your school.

What if we are not from NYC/USA?

We are required by DOH to have an updated health form for every child. As long as the form is current and includes all of the required information, you are welcome to use your state’s/country’s health form.

Payment
Families may pay in full at checkout or use the Sawyer payment plan. Refund timelines apply to the amount paid, regardless of payment method.

Refunds Before May 1
Refund of all payments made minus a $50 early cancellation fee.

After May 1
Camp tuition becomes nonrefundable for any reason.

Cancellations Within 24 Hours of Registration
Full refund of the amount paid minus a 3% processing fee.

Promotions and Discounts
Sales, promotions, or discounts do not change refund deadlines or cancellation rules.

Swapping Weeks
Families may request to switch to another week if space is available. Swaps are at Splat Camp discretion and not guaranteed.

Aftercare and Early Drop Off
May be canceled more than 24 hours in advance for a credit valid for 6 months.
Nonrefundable within 24 hours.
Unused aftercare bought as a weekly bundle cannot be transferred.

If a child arrives for early drop-off without a booking
Families will be charged the standard daily early drop-off rate at drop-off. Children cannot be admitted early without payment.

Medical or Unforeseeable Events
With documentation, families may request a credit for future Splat programming.
Requests must be submitted within 7 days of the missed session.

Summer School Exception
If a child must attend summer school, families may receive a refund minus the $50 early cancellation fee if requested at least 7 days before the start date.

Sibling Discounts
Sibling discounts apply only when siblings attend the same weeks. If weeks are removed, sibling discounts may be adjusted.

Behavioral Dismissals
If a camper is dismissed due to behavior concerns, no refunds or credits will be issued.

Program Adjustments
If programming must be modified due to building operations or updated regulations, alternate programming will be provided and the cancellation policy remains in effect.

Refund Processing Timeline
Refunds are processed within 30 days of confirmation.

We have crafted these policies to ensure clarity and fairness, aligning with the standards of other local programs, while supporting the financial health of Splat Camp. Our goal is to provide a positive and enriching experience for all campers, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Splat Summer Camp has 2 locations in 2026

The space is cool and has a gym, art room, science room, welcome area and access to Central Park and other local playgrounds

Families are responsible for bringing snacks and lunch each day. We are a nut-free camp (due to many campers having allergies) so please do not bring any nut sandwiches. All lunches will be placed in a temperature-controlled cold pack each day.

We offer a 10% discount when enrolling more than one camper.

We offer a Pay What You Can model. As long as we have space we will accommodate as many families as we can.

Our Pay What You Can program will open in spring 2026

Please bring the Epi-pen with you to camp, clearly labeling it with the child’s name and emergency contact details. Speak to the Camp Director about the specific allergies so that we are able to educate their counselors. Youth must be able to self-administer Epi-pens.

We have a Health Director trained in first aid and responding to emergencies on-site daily. In addition, we have staff that is First Aid, AED, and CPR certified. We'll also be in touch with families immediately in case there is a medical condition we need to address. All of our staff receive rigorous safety training and understand our safety plan thoroughly.

We strive to accommodate early pick-ups whenever possible; however, certain times of the day may result in delays. For example, from 1:00–2:30 PM, all campers will be outdoors at a local park, making pick-up arrangements more challenging. Additionally, 2:30–3:00 PM is a busy transition period as we prepare for dismissal, which may also lead to longer wait times. For the smoothest experience, we recommend scheduling early pick-ups outside of these time frames.. our team know that morning or you can always email UWS@splatlab.com and we'll make sure your splat kid is ready to be picked up at the time you designate.
